Not a Micra Fan!

Tinny! Tinny! Tinny!
Sorry to say it but the Nissan Micra feels like a tin can, I had to hire a car for a week and the only car they had left was a Micra. It was a basic 2004 model but I had expected more from Nissan. The interior was hardwearing which didn't give it a comfortable feel and overall i thought it was quite naff!

Did do good miles to the gallon tho.

Great car
Got to disagree with the prior review of this car - I've had a new Nissan Micra for almost a year now and it's been a great car. It's comfortable yet practical, has plenty of space and does a fantastic number of miles to the gallon. Easy to handle and reliable.

*** I LOVE MY MICRA ***
I bought a used Micra from Chorley Nissan last year. The dealers have been fantastic, nothing is too much trouble for them. I am a gardener and was initially a bit concerned about what I would get in it - but I can get all my kit AND a set of step ladders in with no trouble at all. My boyfriend and I share the car - I am 5foot5 and he is 6foot1 - he says its the most headroom he's ever had in a car. I got rid of my silver Astra as it was a boring little box to drive, and I could NEVER find it in the car park at the Supermarket - as everyoneelse had one !! Now I have no problem finding my lovely red Micra - it really is a great little/big car.

Unbeatable!
I've had two Micras over the last eleven years (the old models). The first did 139000 miles before I traded it in. The current one is at 100,000 and still sounds like new. They rarely have anything go wrong with them - my cars spend less time in the garage than those of anyone I know. They're economical to run and a perfect small car. I've tried others out but they just don't match up.

cam shafts
i would never advise anyone to get a nissan micra, for the 1 and only reason nothing to do with the car itself but the parts, timing belt is always going and this is a well known fault that nissan are totally aware of this yet they sell these STILL....... to us gullible customers.

the parts are expensive and buried in the engine.........

for this reason alone i will never look to a micra ever again nor will i advise family and friends to buy one......
